If you are receiving Home and Community Habilitation and Companion Services, you will want to attend this presentation to better understand the differences in these services and also the role that the family plays in the implementation of these services. Kathy Sykes and Marianne Roche will review a Family Tip Sheet that will help you as you work with Habilitation/Companion staff.
Also, Kathy Sykes and Marianne Roche will talk to us about the changes in the intellectual disability system, limited base funds, the importance of understanding service definitions and the need to focus on outcomes for the individual that are identified in their Individual Supports Plan (ISP).
